We’re excited to invite you to gather with us for the Damie Lee Burton Howard Family Reunion, happening Friday, July 23, 2027 through Sunday, July 25, 2027. This weekend is about reconnecting, celebrating our roots, and continuing the legacy we share as one family.

How to Join Us

To join us for the reunion, completing the Membership Enrollment Form serves as your RSVP. When you submit your enrollment, you are letting us know that your household plans to attend and participate in the weekend’s activities.

Enrollment is completed by submitting the official Membership Enrollment Form online. This ensures your household information is accurate, your dues are recorded properly, and your membership is formally established. Once confirmed, your household will be officially counted in for the reunion.

Family Membership

Our family reunion operates on a household membership, with dues of $20.00 per month per household. These dues help us plan meaningful events, cover reunion costs, stay connected as a family, and ensure the reunion continues for future generations.

What We Mean by “Household”

A household includes:

• One adult who is 19 years of age or older
• A spouse or partner who is 17 years of age or older, in accordance with Nebraska law
• Any dependents who are 18 years of age or younger

Everyone in your household is covered under a single membership.

Staying in Good Standing

When your household dues are current, your membership is considered Active, and your household is fully included in all reunion events and meetings.

If dues are not current, your membership becomes Inactive, and we’ll need to bring things up to date before the reunion so you can fully participate with the family.

We’ve planned a full weekend of fellowship and fun.

Participation in all reunion events is reserved for households with Active membership, so everyone can enjoy the weekend together without worry.

Reunion Weekend Events

  Meet-N-Greet & Family Fish Fry
  Kickoff night is all about reconnecting. Come through, catch up with family you haven’t seen in a while, meet new faces, and settle into the weekend with good food and good conversation at the Family Fish Fry.

  

• Sat 24 Jul

  12:00 PM (CT)
  Reunion Gathering
  This is the official family meet-up day—where we come together as one, check in, reconnect, and set the tone for the weekend.

  1:00 PM (CT)
  Family Cook-Out
  Good food, good laughs, and that “everybody’s here” feeling. Pull up, grab a plate, and enjoy the moment together.

  2:00 PM (CT)
  Family Activities / Games / Tour
  Games, fun, and shared time across generations. This is where memories get made and stories get passed down.

  6:00 PM (CT)
  Family Dinner
  A chance to slow down, sit together, and enjoy a meal as a family—real conversation, real connection.

  7:00 PM (CT)
  Family Entertainment
  We close Saturday with celebration—music, energy, and family joy to wrap up the biggest day of the weekend.

  Fellowship
  A time to reflect and reconnect in a different way—sharing gratitude, checking in with one another, and taking a moment to visit and honor the loved ones who are no longer with us.

  An important part of the weekend where we come together to talk about the future of our reunion and our family. Households with Active membership are invited to attend, participate in discussions, and take part in any family decisions.

  Farewell Lunch
